Jay Pimpalkhare is a visual storyteller, illustrator and poster artist based in Mumbai, India.

His work is based on his surreal dreams and experiences that he relates to the human psyche. Inspired by the infinite details, patterns and textures that nature has to offer paired with the usage of bright psychedelic colours- the majority of jays work feels like “reality on acid” as described by his peers.

Jay strongly believes that art can and should be experienced by each current generation In their own way, which connects to them as individuals. He believes that the stereotype that art belongs only in galleries is outdated and that art can truly be anything that makes us feel. In his words: “Anything that can remind us that we’re human in this world that’s increasingly rewarding the ability to be detached is something we must encourage”.
